Have you ever sent that email you really didn’t want to send but the drunk you thought it was a brilliant idea. I know at least one person who has sent out an email ranting on and on about their utter dislike for the boss because the little angry voice told them it was a good idea and it was about time someone stood up to that jerk. Don’t you wish you could just get that micro-second back, a sort of panic-this-is-a-colossal-mistake button, well if you’re a Google follower and thus a user of there fabulous online email app, Gmail, you’re in luck. Google just release a new feature that allows you to stop an already sent email. Its labeled as the “undo” button but I will call it “email regret” button and so it shall be called from this day forth…if I remember. Anyway what it comes down to is that if you send an email via Gmail and for any reason within a few seconds(5 seconds) of sending said email you want to cancel it, all you have to do is click the “email regret” aka “undo” button and pow through the magic that is server and the interweb stuff its recalled. The low down on the what’s happening and how Googles God power is working to save your drunk angry ass is as follows, when you click send Google holds the message for a 5 second delay from the time you hit send and the time that Gmail actually sends the message.
You have to go in Gmail Labs in Settings to activate this new feature. (Scroll down in settings, it is not at the top for some reason).

I was recently in NYC on vacation doing the tourist thing after my urbanathlon competition. Taking the city sights and sounds in and its many restaurants the one thing I found disconcerting was the inclusion of tip, gratuity, already calculated in the bill. The problem I have with that is that to me it feels like the waiter/waitress put in less effort because they know they are getting a tip regardless of the services they provide, this is not a good impression, these people should put in the work and should the patron such as myself feel they deserving of a tip then a tip will be given. We all go out to be relieved of the burden of cooking, we all see going out as a treat a time for us to put our feet up and have someone wait on us. I think if I knew that when I go to work no matter what I do I’m getting paid I think I may be a little hesitant to do any work, well a bit more than hesitant…I wouldn’t do shit. Far too often wait staff are slow on the ball and I’m able reflect my displeasure of services in the amount I leave as a tip. Gratuity included is sending a wrong message to all servers especially young servers as it says “you do not have to work hard and the rewards will still come”, this is mediocrity gone wild and I won’t stand for it…someone should do something…lol. I’m just tripping, but I think you get my point, I mean know there are people who don’t tip and thats why they have gratuity included, but they should tell you, I’ve almost double tipped when visiting Miami.
I think i may be in love tiwtter CS4…everything is so smooth and intuitive
I met to say Adobe CS4
I have it on my laptop and have used the master collection for several weeks. The masters collection has everything you need to do design work, web print and video, its complete all around. I’ve been using Adobe and Macromedia products for years now, since the purchase of Macromedia I been even happier with the combined apps. I love the integration it allows me to design something and move seamlessly between other adobe apps. The intuitive operation of the programs has really been a time saver. The animated and fluid operation of each app and windows within are a nice touch. Although the cost of Master is insane I think its nice all the same.
i hate twitter spam
I’ve been receiving so much junk lately. I’m just going to sit and see where to go, I’m sure the boys over at twitter are on the job. I’m thinking they need to put in some sort of captcha and that will solve the problem, I know like you I hate captcha but its one of those necessary evils.
Today there was a party at the club to celebrate St Pattys day…you know green beer and shamrocks or something like that. I took out the 5K group, we just took it easy as usual. The turnout was really big, lot of new runners, I guess its thanks to Facebook, I wish I could get a turnout like that for my Saturday morning runs.
If your interested in coming out just drop me a note for the details.
eating a meat pie while listen to poetry via Youtube and icing my ankle as I work. I considering running tonight..i hope my ankle will b ok
I just got back…well at 20:30, the run was fine my ankle held up and now I need to ice it before I go to bed, I think its getting better and I credit the icing and sitting on my ass all day. When will they perfect bionics, I mean God no disrespect but I…wait wtf am I saying man can never improve on Gods work. But when i was a kid I do remember thinking it would be cool to be like Steve Austin the Six million dollar man(yeh I’m that old…shut up). I dreamt of the day when they would replace all my parts with bionic parts..man i was sooo wrong. Well I was pretty close with the Jetson phone…still waiting on that flying car.
Well back to the subject at hand, I have not a clue how I injured my ankle, all I can think of is that I injured it when I was training and doing plyometrics. My plyos workout consist of a lot of jumping and thus subjecting lots of strain on my entire body starting from my ankles. Well the weather is nice and I’m thankful that my ankle is coming around so I can stop using that as an excuse and get out and run.
I’ve been using ‘ingenuine’ for years. I never thought to look it up because I was certain it was a proper word but apparently it isn’t. I was writing something and my spell checker underlines it as incorrect, I rolled my eyes and started to cures the American dictionary that the check uses I clicked it to see what the suggested spelling was and was surprised to see so suggested spelling, hmmm off to Google to check. Went to and checked Dictionary.com. Nope. Went to and checked Merriam-Webster. No go. I checked answer.com. zilch. Wow, ‘ingenuine’ sounds like a word but after check all these reliable sources on the inter-web-tubes-net, I must concede, it is not a word.
Ok, so ‘ingenuine’ is not a word…W.E., I must be just be spelling and saying it incorrectly, clearly there is a word that is close. What is the appropriate antonym to ‘genuine’? Ungenuine? Agenuine? Nongenuine, egenuine? No such version of ‘genuine’ exists. This antonym finder suggests ‘insincere’.
Wow….WOW, I really do hate when sense comes around the corner and smack the shit out of you.
I find some comfort or is it sadness that Google has 10,700 mentions of the word that not a word.
