What kind of people are gun owners?

In 96 my mother was brutally shot to death by here husband but I don’t hate guns. I actually like guns and have always liked weapons, as a designer i see the art in the design, its function and form are a marry of elegance and raw mechanical power. If I were an American I would own as many guns as I could, i mean the constitution says it clearly ” the right to bare arms”. I think the problem with weapons enters when regular people who can get guns, buys them and distributes them to people who are ill, violent or who do not understand the power and responsibility of owning a weapon. Everyday we read about a war on something “war on drugs”, war on this and that”, I find it ludicrous to have a war on guns when these people who are having a war on guns are also the people who have the ability to shut down or more tightly control the manufacturing of guns. Although I feel freedoms should be secured and rights up held I would not be so against tighter restrictions on gun companies. America and its “enemies” live with a policy of Mutually Assured Destruction” and keep the people agreeing with them using fear and this mentality trickles down to the people so they feel they have a need to carry weapons for as deterrent and for safety. People die from gun violence because the government is killing them, don’t ask why little Bobby shot up his school, ask where did little Bobby get the full auto Kalashnikov? You have to ask the right questions if you really seek teh right answers.
