Birthday run

Well as usual I got up and went for my annual birthday run, this year was a bit different. I’ve been running on my birthdays for the last 7-8 years, I find it very relaxing and a way to gather my thoughts and tackle new milestone.  This year I took my phone and was able to take a few pics, the only issue with taking my phone was that I have a PDA phone(ipaq 6955)  which is a bit chunky, but my Nike running jacket fits a bit snug so the phone wasn’t able to bounce around. The second problem with taking my phone is that the phone was designed primarily around office productivity and communication not around the camera and I had set the resolution low so the pics were a bit cruddy. I wish I had remembered to set the resolution higher because it being fall and a beautiful day the scenery was amazing and the pics don’t fairly represent it.

These pictures really fail to capture the glory but it was a early morning run with sun creeping through whats left of the leaves on the mature trees.
the picture fails again, it was beautiful.
Curves
Long curvy roads and paths are my fave, its like a surprise around the corner.
You can’t tell but this was a huge hill behind Sunny Brock Hospital, it seem like I had so many hills to go up but I don’t recall going down any.

Torontonians Supporting Obama

Hey guys, I was interviewed this morning on CBC radio about Canadian involvement with the US politics, specifically Obama supporters going to the states to support him. Listen how shaky my voice is….aaargh, I really need to get up on the whole public speaking thing. The experience was kinda cool, there was so much I wanted to say but it was a bit scripted and so I just answered questions as best I could as they were asked.

LISTEN ONLINE

you will need the real player plugin to listen to the broadcast from the CBC site.
